Without reading the ADR I am sure that it would only apply to low beam. As far as high goes it should not matter, as you can't have them on when you have an oncoming car. Even correctly aligned, legal, high powered high beam/driving lights are blinding, so I thing it would make no difference what type of globes and what angle the beam is reflected.Quote:

Rooftop flashing/rotating/or blatant blue/red/white or any combination of (excepting headlights) lights fitted and visible on or off on vehicles on public roads are illegal and only a designated and approved emergency services vehicle can display them. You can not just build a vehicle and display them. However on private property with limited access you can use whatever you like. If taking a vehicle that has these lights eg a fuel truck onto a public road the lights must be off and completely covered.Quote:

As stated in ADRs blue lights are not illegal up to a certain level.
