Thread: MultiMarathon - 4WDers wanted

I received the below email from the president of the Discovery 4WD Club in relation to the Simpson Desert MultiMarathon. In short, the organisers are requesting the assistance of experienced 4WDers between the 9 September and 4 October 2011 to form a support team. All expenses catered for. See below. Would be a great opportunity for someone.

Dear President,

I am writing to you today seeking your help with your club and its members for a project that may be suited to your members.

On September 15th 2011 MultiMarathon will be taking a group of Marathon runners to the Simpson Desert to run 15 marathons in 15 days for 15 charities.
See MultiMarathon ? the ultimate physical challenge for charity My request to you is that MultiMarathon are looking for experienced 4x4 drivers and their vehicles to be part of our support team for 2011. MultiMarathon will pay for fuel and food etc. however the event will start for the support crew leaving Sydney September 9th and back home to Sydney by October 4th 2011 a total of 24 days.

I am also looking for anyone with a 4x4 to help with transport of the runners from Alice Spring on September 14th 2011 to The Geograophical Centre of Australia Lambert Centre. The start of the great race
