I've currently got a small 12v compressor from supercheap. Its served me well for the last 3 years, just managed to inflate all 4 245/75's on the D1 before thermal cutout, so I know its not going to cope with the 33's on the 110.
I've already got 80% of the bits I need to set up an endless air system, so I dont want to spend lots on a 12v compressor.
Any recommendations on something under $100 that will pump up 4 33's from 20-40psi in a reasonable time without hitting thermal cutout?
If it lasts a year it will have done its job.
I was considering one of these from evilbay - comes with a 1 year warranty:

Any one already got one?

I've got very similar, in a cheapo blow-moulded case, Cost me $73 + postage 2 yrs ago ... still going, never hit t/ol. Max draw is 30A. Pumps up 4x 255/70's, and probably a little slower than an ARB lunchbox setup .... 1/4 the price
Treat the hose gently, and don't trust the pressure guage. I did notice the ebay one you listed is 45A MAX ... maybe a beefier motor on the same cylinders ?
EDIT - same as the Big Boss.

I have a similar ebay twin cylinder compressor $75 plus postage.
Will pump up my 35" 101 from flat to 35psi in 5 minutes - and has reasonable duty cycle - but the switch cannot handle the draw of power and melts.
The pump itself works OK though.

I've had one of those ebay jobbies for about 8 years now, done it's fair share of work and still going strong. When I bought it my wife asked why I would want one of those? I said to pump up the tyres on the 4WD. She said "but we dont have a 4WD"

i went to the local dealer and picked up a used d3 suspension compressor for free hit them up
Thanks everyone.
I half expected lots of "don't touch them/junk/mine only lasted 2 trips" sort of replies but sounds like they actually do a reasonable job.
Guess I can always take along my small one as a spare in case the bigger one DOES makes smoke

For a little bit more, you can get a really good one... The ABR Sidewinder has great air flow, and its duty cycle is 45 mins on, 10 off. It only takes about a minute to get my 31's from 20 to 40PSI, so I'm never going to worry it. I think they are priced at about $230 to your door - more than you want to spend I know, but will last for ever, and you can hold of them on the phone if you need to - very easy to deal with.
Just my 2 cents...
