Not me either. I don't have a Lada Niva.

I don't have a death wish.
Ha, I had a Niva once. I doubt it would have made it to the top of that hill without something breaking/stopping.
I admit to having a Lada years ago and it was a good little Fiat 124 design vehicle.
I did have to fiddle with the carb (remember them?) linkage to get rid of an awful sticking point but apart from that it was OK.
Then someone nicked it from Hillary's boat harbour while I was in the pub, and it's never been seen since!!!
And it definitely wouldn't have been me on a suicide mission like that.

that is some seriously outstandingly good driving
I remeber the first Wynns Safari where the Russians every night would lay out 6 tyres and gently lift them ontoi their side and then unbolt the sub frames and then work on them.
My Lada would never get up the bloody hill in the first place. And if it did in its current condition it would fall in Half on the way down. Bloody gamer than me I say
That's either a magnificent ora very lucky piece of driving.
I too had a Lada Niva and loved it.I took it a heap of places and whilst it did have some niggly problems it never once failed to get me there or get me home. I wish they still brought them in to Aus - I'd buy another one.
