Thread: NE Vic Group Accommodation

I am looking for suitable accommodation (DB& in NE Vic area for a group of about 22 people for an accommodated 4WD trip I'm planning for Autumn 2012.

So does anyone

a) know anything about the suitability and standard of the Glen Wills Mountain Retreat.

b) have any information about a Landy tragic who runs (or used to run) some sort of accommodation in the Tawonga area of the Kiewa Valley - name and/or contact details would be handy. or

c) know any other place/s in NE Vic that may be suitable.

Mitta Mitta, Mount Beauty/Tawonga, Falls Ck, Bogong, Dinner Plains, Mt Hotham, Corryong, or even Omeo.

Prefer cabin or lodge type similar to the Dargo Pub or Merrijig Lodge. Not interested in Motel style - like somewhere with a bit of character or remote/bush location.
We usually stay two nights at each of four places as part of an eight night tour through VicHigh country.

I've done numerous camping trips through the high country but some of the friends I've taken there really enjoy the extra relaxation of the accommodation. They have recently requested that I run another accommodated trip so am in the early stages of planning and booking suitable accommodation.
