    One year on

Well, my wife Betty passed away one year ago today.
    It's been a long year !!

Time now to prowl around the deserts and soak up some dust, it's been
    a while.

    Robert.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It would have been a difficult period. I am glad you want to go on a journey, I am sure nature will help to heal and inspire.

I rather imagine that the last year has been pretty tough on you Robert and I can't imagine to understand how you have felt. All I can say is enjoy the memories and also enjoy the future.

    Cheers mate.

I can't begin to imagine what loosing a spouse must feel like - I'm in a relationship and looking at marriage soon. My sympathies mate. Enjoy the peace of the Australian bush.

I lost my wife 10 years ago to cancer. Remember the old Roman saying Vita mutata non tollitur! (life is changed, not taken away) Pedro is quite right Betty will always be with you where ever you go.

    Cheers.

Best wishes mate and enjoy. As you (and I) know, life is short. No one can take the good memories from you. Cherish them and look back on them and in retrospect...smile.

good travelling with your journeys Rob. With an extended family like you have on here, it won't be long before you share a chat around a fire, under a billion stars, breathing in the desert.
