For the snake experts - what is it?

Saw this snake the other day - only the once, thank goodness - was less than 50cm long, didn't move when I walked past it. Can someone please identify it. I've done a search and found nothing. Its on Fraser Island.

Looks like Burton's Legless Lizard - known to exist on Fraser Island too.

The shape of the head as well as the size & colour gives it away.

    Regards,

    Les.(No snake expert either!)

Do a google search on Burtons Legless Lizard.

I think you'll see I'm right - that is no snake
