All you RR owners with reliability grumbles might find this amusing. Below is a picture I took today of an expensive (and IMO ugly) Chevy Ute.
This is the second time the owner has had to call in the flatbed truck because the steering box has "fallen out". Apparently it's held in place by 3 or 4 small diameter bolts.
I have never heard of a steering box falling off a Chevy ute before.
Earlier Chevys, before IFS, had trouble with frame cracking around the steering box.
As far as I am aware Chevy does not make a RHD version of its Utes, so the steering box problem has more to do with the company / person who did the RHD conversion than Chevy itself.
