The company you referred to used to be very good but over the years service has dropped off and prices have gone up (compared to other suppliers).

I no longer use them.

and why? thats whats wrong with our society at the moment, covering up for anybody that cheats, lies or fails to keep promises. Dishonesty is the greatest curse to human beings. If every dishonest person was named and shamed and placed in their rightful position in society as a result ,what a wonderful world it would become.

Unfortunately because of the laws around slander/defamation. Even if what was said was true, there is always the chance that the statements will have to be defended in a court of law, that is likely to involve not only the person who makes the claim, but also the person/organisation that publishes them (in this case Dave/Inc). Not that I have a lot of experience with courts but the process tends to be long winded and VERY expensive. So if we want Aulro to continue - lets not put Inc in that position.

Other than that I generally agree with your sentiments.

I agree with your position Dave - but then you should not allow positive comments etc about suppliers.

If people went to a supplier based on positive biased comments placed on AULRO, rather than a more balanced reviewed where both positive and negative comments are placed and issues result surely some would then try to get satisfaction from AULRO - afterall the person went to the supplier effectively on AULROs recommendation.

A difficult situation that I appreciate is not easily resolved.
