Suppose everything will eventually come out,but will probably be a while.
I understand that the accused is pleading not guilty. So, you would have to assume that he has given nothing away and that there was another person involved who is being offered some sort of immunity or a plea bargain in exchange for being the star witness. Because of the specific and tiny search area, I also suspect this 'witness' was present at the time the body was placed in this location and that the information was not just based on the accused discussing the crime with someone. This confirmation that it was Daniel's remains would have to hugely increase the value of this 'witness' to the prosecution's case.

There seem to be a lot of ****tard journos telling us how the Morcombe's are probably "feeling". Truth is that no-one who hasn;t been there could possibly know, and let's hope few people ever have to live that nightmare.

It's closure for them in the sense that at least they know.
On the other hand that little glimmer of hope that the human soul always holds out, has been extinguised.

You are so right, no-one can imagine how they feel. When I lost my daughter I knew exactly what had happened and that it was a freak accident. I always felt so sorry for these parents because they came under the heading "there is always someone worse off" Unless you have lost a child you can't imagine how I must have felt and I know I can't imagine how those poor parents must have felt. I think "closure" is a falacy, you learn to live with losing a child, or you don't, but they have had to learn to live with not knowing and although they will be less effected by the knowledge that he is found, dead, because they have had so long to become used to his loss it will still be another huge trauma for them to deal with.
Forget how the cops finally found him, forget the who or why. Just spare a thought for the family.

The police have not said this, although they have said that two detectives lived undercover next door to the suspect for six months in a Perth caravan park. I would not rule out bugs having been planted.

I expect that this will all come out in the trial - perhaps the fact that the body has actually been found where the information indicated will add weight to what would otherwise be hearsay evidence. Obviously they are also hoping to find some concrete evidence from the scene, and presumably from the motor vehicle they have seized.
