I have never met you or Simon but none the less it saddened me to hear of your loss. Depression is a terrible illness which affects many, many people.
I wish you all the best for the future and hope in time things get easier, as has already been said your little fella needs you more than ever now and in the future.
    RIP Simon.

    Colin.

    Sarah,

I don't know you but still feel for you and your loved ones for this terrible loss. Depression is a terrible sickness, from the outside everything can look well yet inside it drives people to do things that can only be due to an immense pain.

    You are in my thoughts.

    Hi Sarah

There are no words I could say or write that could take away the pain or numbness that you are feeling right now and unfortunatly that will remain with you for a long time.
Draw those that love even close to you at this time of great need & don't be afraid to ask for help. Don't forget your extended family here at AULRO too. We are here to offer our Support, Love, Condolences and a shoulder to cry on if needed.
I have not met you or Simon only read you writtings on AULRO. Nor can I ever imagine what you are going through right now except that it's biggest load of **** that is ever likely to happen to you.
I too have a young son (16 months old & his name is Simon too ) and know that Lucas will need you now more that ever. He will never be able to understand why daddy is not coming home tonight. Be as strong as you can for both of you. Pick the brightest star in the sky and tell him that it is Simon watching over you both.
I have also suffered from depression over the last 10 months and without professional help would never have got out of it. Even knew I had depression and thought I was getting better. But no, without my doctors help I would still be there. So if you have depression PLEASE PLEASE seek some form of help & if nothing else TALK about it. There is no shame in having depression. The only shame is in letting it go too far and ending up dead. Then leaving those left behind to pick up the pieces.
Again Sarah you & your family are in all our thoughts & prayers
    Deepest Sympathy

    Gary & family
