While the DC100 show pony will no doubt have some differences from the production model, i think it will be pretty close - as other recent LR show vehicles indicate.
I expect the front will be more Defenderised. The sloping nose is really only present in the Freelander and the more upright style of a D4, along with more obviously round headlights, would be my bet.
As an example, the 5 years between the concept Rav4 the and first production vehicle saw radical changes in the nose and a strong stylistic carry-over elsewhere.

On the other hand I am struck by the stylistic similarity between this apparently "wild guess" drawing and the official DC100 renderings. I am also struck that the magazine drawings do not show the grill.

Don't forget that the pictures are computer-generated photoshop specials. That isn't real mud. On the other hand, assuming the brakes are based on production expectations then smaller rims are definitely possible.
This is my guess: they have the body shell pretty much resolved. I expect the doors will be more like the drawing and less like the concept car (simpler, cheaper). The lines after the front wheel are actually reminiscent of a Series/Defender with a dead-flat waistline extending all the way to the grill. I expect, and have always expected, that the front windscreen will be fixed, curved and have a raked angle. But it seems they are still working through the grill. I suspect they have 2 or three options and this is the least preferred, offered up so that whatever they eventually deliver looks better. Something like what Toyota did with the Rav4 though hopefully in reverse, with more rather than less character, and round headlights.
Taking that a step further, imagine the bonnet line extended an inch further forward and a headlight arrangement more evocative of the current Defender. With only detail changes, I think we would then be looking at the 2015 Defender.
