    sniff, cry

Hi All the Dads out there.

I was overwhelmed today, with visits and phonecalls from all of my kids and the grandson.

I'm sorry that I can't pass on my greetings in person to my Dad any more, I can only do that in my prayers now, as he passed away last December.

    Cheers Arthur

    Happy Fathers Day fellow Dads.

At work until Thursday, but got messages from the kids and expect to talk to them later.

Happy fathers day all of you. Yes, both Fathers day & Mothering Sunday are on different days in different parts of the world. I'm not even sure if they're the same all across Europe!
This is my first one! I was treated to my choice of breakfast, some chilli chocolates, a nice book (not LR related) & the first series of Australian Grand Designs on DVD. Plus a sumptuous meal at the in-laws.

    I got...

woken up at 4.30am, and got given breakfast outside the hotel and lunch was on the hotel! Literally!.

not quite the way we planned!.

But got home (at about 2pm) the breakfast I asked for yesterday was there (but cold!) --Blue pancakes!.. and got a few sets of DVDs (dexter, australians at war, the pacific and band of brothers!) a book "ANZACS at war", a small car tool kit, a ute shaped money box, a worlds greatest dad pen, a super dad mug (nah nah - that must mean I'm better than both of ya!!) I also got a packet of 6 "hug" vouchers and home made cards from all the kids (5,8 and 12 years)!

As I'm writing Mrs Digger is cooking a magnificent roast!! (But I've looked everywhere and can't find my gunbuggy!! must be at a mates place maybe?? )

Calling the old man tonight (as per tradition)
So although very tiring, its turned into a nice day!

    Happy fathers day guys!
