Shoes thrown at John Howard during the ABC's Q&A program last year have been sold on eBay for $3,650.
Just before noon today the shoes had racked up 53 bids and eventually sold for $3,650, to be shipped somewhere in Australia.
It is tragic that Mr Gray died in May after spending several years suffering from bowel cancer.
