If that poll was taken in USA then a different Result.

Even so, it is interesting that Land Rover had 54% of the votes and second place had just 9%.

That's the first thing I noticed!. Very big gap. Nice poll, despite the fact it was only conducted in England.

I don't see country being a huge influence. I would bet if a survey was done here on passenger vehicles, Falcons and Crumiedoors would not dominate.

WTF??? Toyota outsells ALL other 4x4s in Australia at about an 8:1 ratio. If the poll were done here, toyota would be on ~60%.

80% of Tojo's aren't private sales. If we are talking straight off the showroom floor the LR range is the best. Pat

I was referring to passenger vehicles here not 4x4, with my point being car made in country of where poll was taken.

I am not so sure. There would be a link between sales numbers and poll results. Just as in the UK, Land Rover outsells all other 4x4 makes, and that is reflected in the poll results.

EDIT: Note that I am making no comment on the quality of LR vehicles (the D4 has won just about every award going?) - just that the AU poll results would be quite different...
