Honestly how stupid can some people be? That was just asking for serious injury or death.

Goo' bi' a ki' tha' wun, be'er than a winch!

Geez, do they have shovels blighty or did all the convicts take 'em?

Glad no one was hurt, unfortunately though, they must have thought it will work next time.

I've seen two snatch straps joined by a shackle and I stood behind the biggest tree I could find.

The sad thing is that these idiots can do everything wrong and somehow manage to get to the end of the day with all their body parts intact.
Others make a single mistake (often just the fact of being there) and leave the scene in a body bag.

This thread reminds me of the episode of Top Gear Australia, shown earlier this week, where the 'boys' showed how to deal with a locked gate by attaching what looked like a snatch strap to the chain on the gate and proceeded to pull it off. I turned it off after that. An awful show.

If I was there and saw that, I would be running for a tree as well.

Just unbelievable but then...... it's all been done before.
Lucky those bolts held on the tow bar!
Hope they stay in England and never want to come on a trip with me.
