That's impressive. It seems to be missing the requisite 4 aerials, 6 spotties, Bundy Rum stickers and RMW mudflaps however...

    Cheers for posting.

I had a bullbar half the size of that on an XF Falcon and couldn't roadworthy it due to ADR's. That's got no hope.

The Deni Ute Muster is just around the corner, plenty more like that up there, but the Police have been cracking down on these in the last couple of years up there, so maybe they didn't want to risk it.

I would love to see them try to get a RWC on it...

My understanding is this is what is known as a five poster(oversize in this case) and five posters are illegal.

    What a ****

    gotta love the guesswork here......

would someone care to comment on what it is what makes them illegal or a RWC fail?

saying "five posters are illegal" is the same sort of idiotic thinking that nearly saw the car community in NSW (and potentially Australia wide) slammed with the restrictions on raising/lowering ride heights on vehicles......

the problems with a LOT of aftermarket bars like that are some of the companies that build them simply build them for the bling value, bigger = better, without regard for crashworthiness, pedestrian safety and airbag deployment.

there are companies that do the proper engineering and testing work to ensure thier products wont affect airbag deployment, wont exacerbate any damage in a crash, and arent overly dangerous to pedestrians

apart from being visually offensive or over the top to some, really, the only faults i can see with it are that it *may* be too high in the centre section causing visibility issues, and the lower rail will make the approach angle from the front something of a joke....

I find it hard to believe. Surely that bullbar has been photoshopped onto the ute? Bob [thank goodness it's not a Land Rover]
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I believe "5 Poster" is just a common name used for design of the bull bar above that doesn't meet adrs and hasn't for a long time.

I think it's illegal to have any bull bar that is angled forward, i.e. the top bar has to be behind the "bumper" section.
