looks like someone found the original frontera and pumped it up to burst point..... pity they stopped !
a defender with low profile tyres and all this crap... no longer looking for the 4wd market, moving to pimps and drug dealers?

This is great. Hope it goes to production.
OK, I cant see it selling here in Australia, nor in the UK. But I can imagine it selling in good numbers in the USA, thats a market (as we all know) LR want to expand.
I suspect its built around the Evoque.

a cage, SAS and some 37" rubber... I'd sport that!
I rule!!!
2.4" of Pure FURY!!!
I actually think that's a really nice looking motor...!!
I must be a minority.![]()
I'd have one! looks cool.
You think they would have at least beaded the front left tyre in the farro arm photo...
Gives a better impression of the size. It's fairly large. No storage that I can see, so definitely going for the sport market. Prolly for those mid-life crisis-ators that want to scoot to the beach with the secretary while the missus drops kiddies off in the eeevok.
Can just see it now. It'll sell to young girls (ooooh cute colour and wheels) and middle aged balding men who want young girls.
edit: Just found the right pic too

In what possible definitio of the world is that a Defender?
call it a Discovery Sport and it might work marketing wise.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
gone
1993 Defender 110 ute "Doris"
1994 Range Rover Vogue LSE "The Luxo-Barge"
1994 Defender 130 HCPU "Rolly"
1996 Discovery 1
current
1995 Defender 130 HCPU and Suzuki GSX1400
How can they call that a defender??? is like a freelander on steriods..
Its going to be a sad day when we see the last of the current shape defenders sell, atleast i hear they are going to continue to make them, but in india and only for the indian market...
Now to get the windscreen to fold down, that would make a nice gun buggy.
Cheers Arthur
