In a word. NO!
There have been other ambulances fitted for roof racks although its not common. I would think the added height and top load would outweigh the advantages, and so many ambulances about being restored need undamaged tropical rooves etc...
your car, but the tropical roof is really not weight bearing or structural at any point.
As a question have you given your ambo details to REMLR for the register?
(I would suggest you'll be hearing from REMLR people on this also!)

so they do not need any help, just ask any ex-serviceman that has been a passenger in the back when they have fallen over
I was informed that the ensueing couple of minutes was hectic as they tried to hold a 2a Ambo up
