    Speedo Repairs

Does anyone know a place I can get my speedo repaired in Sydney or Canberra?

According to it, the fasted I ever go is 20kph.. but the trip meter / odo is still working well... so Its not the cable. I've got 435 000km on it, kind of a badge of honor so I don't want to just replace it..

    SUTHERLAND INSTRUMENT SERVICE CO

Plenty of other instrument repair places around - this one I used to deal with 20 odd years ago.

There is a place in Dickson. On either Chalis st or Wooley st. They repair and sell VDO and all sorts of instruments. And sell seals for your coffee machine as well.

Yes, and parts for my breadmaker - but while I could take you there I can't remember either the name or street name!

General Auto Instruments in Silverwater for anything smiths, else send it to the US. GAE were the people I'd use until I found Nisonger
Nisonger Instruments :: the exclusive Smiths U.S. Warranty & Service Center since 1949
restorations, repaints, rescreens, elec conversions on mech units. Much better priced as well. Have also given me very good free advice by email that resulted in a healthy profit on some NOS I bought at a garage sale. I offered it all to him as it was vette/shelby stuff but he id'd it, part no'd it and priced it and told me to sell it on ebay or a list of clubs (also supplied by them) rather than get it himself for a song.

    Highly recommended

    Thumbs up

The place in Dickson, Canberra, which does speedos, guages, breadmaker parts, steam iron parts and allsorts is "Premier Instruments" in Badham St. Been there for eons, and are agents for seemingly everyone.
