Let's not repeat the Gladstone mistake ?
Too late for Gladstone, too late for Mt Isa and the children there, and too late for , I think it is Whyalla, with high lead levels [ could be wrong with the town, but I know Sth. Aus. has that problem somewhere ] I used to fish at Gladstone years ago, pristine conditions, Sometimes I think we are ruining our country on the altar of greed and political indifference. I often wonder if these industries were situated just outside Melbourne whether there would be more planning and thought put into them. Out of sight, out of mind, and to hell with the consequences, as long as it's N.I.M.B.Y. Our grandchildren and their children will have a very dim view of us , and the heritage we leave them. I cry for my country, Bob
