    Salisbury Pinion seal needed URGENTLY!!!

    G'day All,
    I have just had a phone call from Mrs Ho Har this morning, they are in convoy (coming from Qld) with a S3 Stg1 V8 and it has a leaking (badly) Salisbury Pinion seal, they are currently Sth of Pt Macquarie and were hoping to catch either Ben or Russell from Modern Mtrs Dungog who are going to the expo, but my phone call to Dungog resulted in they were not there.
    So Mrs H is asking, does anyone have a Salisbury Pinion Oil seal (or could purchase one) and the socket to fit the nut, and hopefully do the job at the Expo, can anyone help, if so please advise me and I can ring them back, cheers Dennis

    Problem solved. I picked up a seal from AllFourX4 this morning and we will replace it at Banjo's place when the HH's arrive here, probably about midday!! Oh, nearly forgot, I rang the HH's and they are tickled pink!!

    OK!! New seal installed in the Dormobile and the Queenslanders left for Castle Hill at about 2pm. Great to catch up with people that you only know on the internet!! Yeah mate, I am going to the Expo with the Newcastle mob that will be meeting at the twin servo's on the F3 at 7.30am in the morning!! Hope to see you there!! You should have seen the oil covering the rear of the vehicle, they travelled 700k's with the seal leaking!! A big thanks to Banjo who whipped the old seal out and installed a new one in half an hour!!
