Most boring TV programme ever seen?

    Well, I found it.

I was at Nepean Hospital (Western Sydney) the other night with my wife (who was there with blood clots in her lungs) and whilst we waited for 6 hours to be seen, we had to endure the waiting room TV programmes.

I didn't think I could find anything more boring than football - but I have.

It was the Brownlow Medal presentation. Some bloke was up on the stage reading out a list of players' names and their votes. And it went on and on and on and on and.........

And we couldn't change channels or turn it off. How do people put up with that crap on TV? I couldn't care less who won.

To make it worse, it seems it was for some strange Victorian game.

Oh! to endure that without a remote must have been torture.

    Thanks Garry.

    Still very sore.

I was annoyed by the delays to get some pain killers. After triage, we were told she'd have medication within 30 minutes. After 90 minutes I went and asked again.

After another hour, we asked again. The nurse said she couldn't see our name on the list so she dismissed it. She had misunderstood our family name when I asked the first time but didn't come into the waiting room to ask when she couldn't find the name on the computer - and I was sitting fully visible from her window.

After seeing the doctor and getting some Clexane, she was told they wanted her to stay overnight. But there was only one slight problem. There were no spare beds so she'd have to stay in the waiting room.

I wish I'd been wearing my watch that also acts as a TV remote! The next time I go to the hospital, I will definitely do that.

Ron doesn't do mobile data, it costs too much! Maybe now that you've experienced freeview, there's possibly hope for you!

Hope the better half is doing OK, doesn't sound too nice but if shes put up with you for this long, she can get thru anything!
