    Its a German machine gun, MG (insert number here as I cant remember it). Fairly popular and reliable and was even used by Australian troops for awhile.

    Looks to be intact from the piccs wonder why the rebels didnt turn it around and use it, is it an MG3 thats what the leopards used

    German MG3 originally the WW2 MG42, 7.92mm calibre machine gun.One of the most feared machine guns from WW2 by allied troops due to its high rate of firepower. In use with the 'Bundeswehr' from the 1950s till present day, now recalibrated to 7.62mm.


    I hope this piece of worthless information has been of some use to somenone out there.....
