Just be aware there is a slowly growing bunch of anecdotes of longer term erectile issues arising or should I say not arising? - but maybe that's just from letting the teeth grow longer.

Hey Black Betty, you'll be fine.

I had mine done nearly 30 years ago and no probs then, or now

A mate had his done - wife insisted on accompanying him - she watched the procedure... On the way home their van ran out of petrol. He looked at her - she said "you ran out of petrol, you get some more" so he walked 3 miles back to the nearest petrol station, bought the fuel, walked back to his van, poured it in - and had a very quiet drive home.

My experience was very similar. We had to drive about an hour to get it done. Just before going in for the snip I pointed out to the missus that the Land Rover's low on fuel and that she'd need to fuel up. She didn't, and it was the last thing I was thinking about after I came out. So half way home, there we were sitting by the side of the highway, she feeling a little embarrased and me wriggling about looking for the least uncomfortable position for my aching wobbly bits. Eventually someone from her work brought a gerry can of diesel. And they're still laughing about it.

I would have tipped the petrol over the car and lit it with her inside

Yep me too! I have been reading this thread to SWMBO as it has evolved and she's laughed many a time at the comments, obviously because I was snipped earlier this year. Anyway, when I read that post about running out of petrol and making him walk... She goes ... "what a bitch!" ... That's my girl! Sensible and still a woman.... Love it!!!

I have to say I am impressed with the number of men putting their hand up to say "I've been snipped"

I thought I was going to be a pioneer, not a follower
