Yes great race, and relatively uneventful - I agree those Fire Marshalls were very effective , not to mention brave.
Glad to see I am not the only one who enjoyed Meatloaf last week - now there are 2 of us.

Sorry to correct your memory....... but it was before the ATC race at AIR in Adelaide, not Bathurst. Still a great story though.
On the Johnson item, the other car was part of the deal from Andrew (?) Harris, owner of the Falcon. 'If you want my car, you have to replace it with something for tomorrow'. Also still a good story.
As were the various driver swaps during the weekend or even during the race.
These days these cases would be impossible for so many reasons.
