Would it work on lawn mowers?
For a lawn mower you have a built in turbo, just plumb the force of the blade driven air into the inlet and you'll have a exponential motion machine as long as it has fuel it will continue to spin faster driving more air, making it spin faster.....
It's a minimised EGR. Not only leaning out but not even adding fresh air. You'd be just as well off just drilling a hole in the inlet manifold.
Sounds fantastic. At what speed do the cutting blades become ineffective?clubagreenie you could win the Pigasus award from the James Randi Foundation with that one. Its almost a perpetual motion generating machine.
What exactly defines perpetual motion? Does it need to be just continuous movement or can it be fuelled? If so when it runs out it stops so not so perpetual. Thats the downside of the mower motion drive. I might power a pc with it though. Fan cooled, magneto powered, same magneto powers the electric motor of the mower. (no one is allowed to poo poo my idea with logic now ok)
I've had many battles wih tempermental mowers, so anything would be an improvement.
In real terms perpetual motion means getting more energy out than you put in, as friction is unavoidable, no matter how small. It usually tries to harness some kind of "zero point energy" or "quantum fruit loops" which don't actually exist in the macro world!
The mower idea is fine though, so long as you can keep the 2 stroke supplies up to it.:p
Hmmm, I'm pretty relaxed about my daily movements but I'm sure it has some calorific value. Now do I burn more calories putting it out than it's worth?
The Perpetual Motion Motion.
don't be distracted...just proceed with your research underturd
They have been trying on perpetual motion for over 150 years now. And it is really just getting something from nothing or a small input. They tried it with a clock that if once started it would run forever keeping perfect time. The Russians tired creating power with magnets spinning around a iron core creating power, as as the magnets keep pull the magnet behind they never stop. But friction is everywhere and it will eventually stop an object unless there is a constant push behind it.
