What a bastard.
I'm paranoid about my 240 blitz being stolen. I need to figure out a way to secure them. Excess is around the same as replacement cost.
My excess is $300, got quotes for new ones....$900-$1400 from ARB and TJM

I've seen reference to 'anti theft nuts' for lights. Maybe they're worth adding? I don't know if they work in a similar way to the anti theft locking wheel nuts? A versatile thief could acquire one of each of the adapters and be set up for whatever their target vehicle had installed.
I had some Cibie Oscars knocked off from right under my nose & they even had these locknuts.
Some young blokes were outside a holiday house I was renting one night & they were kicking up a fuss with torches yelling out stuff like " I saw it roll over here" It was all a diversion - but lucky I never got dressed & went out to lend a hand as I would have gotten into an almighty ( & one sided) fight..
20 years on & I've never replaced em..
Hi All
Light fingered ! Eh!
I hope they see the error of their ways.
All jokes aside, Lets hope they get their just desserts.
Cheers Arthur
900-1200? I hope that's for HID had my old lights stolen called insurance bla bla being under 25 wasn't worth it I was an angry man for a week anti theft nuts only do so much I put on a new pair of 210 genesis rrp 500 for a pair of hologens very nice output and strong build ... I feel for u.. xgt halogen $275 each add 600 for your hid upgraded version ... if u have a welder zap the base of the thread.. it will take the tight arse buggers hours to get em off if they manage to that is
Drill through the nut and shaft then tap a roll pin into the hole. Most scum bags won't be able to work it out, then move onto an easier target.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
