    No, not a van! Same issue as a ute, except if the weather's rubbish you'll still have to move their furniture 'cos it'll stay dry in the van! Otherwise a blimming good idea.

    VW's are generally very reliable.

    how many people do you know that move house?...

    i would go a subaru wagon or a super carry Suzuki van.

    at lest you can drive the subaru like a rally car

    I would go for a EF/EL Falcon. I reckon they were the best of the E series by a country mile. If you look hard enough you could probably find one on LPG.

    Apart from head gasket problems which are easy to fix, they are pretty well bullet proof.
