The rules are "Class 2 - Two axle vehicles less than 2.8 metres in height or three axle vehicles less than 2 metres in height" Hills M2 / Cost for travel on M2 and without checking I'm pretty sure the same applies to the M7 and other toll roads as well. So if you're getting the Class 2 toll consider yourself lucky.

The reason it's only 100KPH is so not to upset the push bikes in the dead lane cycleway, after all when you build a toll road you also have to build 4 cycleways that push bikes can use for free.

You should get a credit for when they are stopped or going slow in peak hr I feel as they are just cash cows for the state governments etc . Look at how bad the gate way was and still is at Nudge. Logan Motor way is used to pay for the sunshine coast so some poly could stay in power from memory. from memory they don't tell you the road ahead is blocked till after you go through the tolls . don't start me on those useless motor way brake down Utes that cause more problems

The question was put to the minister and HillsM2 Motorway and both stated they would not consider a discount and almost at the same time announced the toll rise.

    It gets worse.
If your Govia is linked to a credit card for automatic topups, and your credit card reaches its expiry date and your bank gives you a new card, you have to tell Go via about the new card. If you forget, your tolls aren't paid.

What really irks me about the tolls here is how they introduced the commercial vehicle class. It appeared at the last increase & effectively doubled tolls for these types of vehicles

And that Logan 'motorway' which which drops down to one lane heading west just after the Wembly rd exit.Wonderful around 7.30 every morning.

What clown designed that? There is enough land to build a motorway with 6 lanes each way,but some bright spark reduced it to one lane??

Things could be worse, mate of mine has a trucking company & he is very happy if his toll bill for the month is less than 8K

Toll roads are a bloody scam

The tolls are a profit for private organisations.
The toll on the Gateway continues, long after the first bridge was paid for.

The tolling rights for the Gateway have been sold to a private company for 50 years !!!
So LONG after the new bridge is paid for we'll still be paying tolls !

I can tell who's accident (, welllll...)with a cyclist effectively ''banned'' them from the M2 including putting a quiet whisper out among the groups of regular users that despite being a ''public'' road they would be less and less tolerated on the motorways. And the M7 has a separate cycleway and they can be booked for being on the motorway and not using the designated cycle lane.

And the losses get born by the tax payer, look at the compensation that had to be paid to the cross city tunnel when the traffic diversions to force you into the tunnel were reversed. They still went broke.

Has any one noticed there are no longer any where on the gateway motorway that tells you how much the toll is on the gateway

So when the price goes up you don't notice. It has double in the last few years
