Looks like a visitor from the UK. What's the logo on the doors?
G'day all,
Just wondering if anyone knows who owns the Defender shown in the pictures? It's been sitting in my street (Glebe, NSW) with a flat tyre for the last few weeks and I'm resisting the urge to go and change it for them. Pretty well kitted out 110!
Cheers,
Aleksei

I don't know it, but as a K Reg it should be a 1993 200tdi with rover rear axle and disc brakes all round.
Would be good to know if it's driven here or sailed and if it's now living here or just here on holiday.

Looks like an overlander, but I'm a little confused which route one would take, not to do a little bit of sailing?
Even at low tide the Torres Strait across to Cape York is still hundreds of feet deep.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Meet Hercules!
Cheers Arthur
Hi All
What do you all think about this email that I have drafted ?
Hi People of the Road 2 Recovery team
Is Hercules up for grabs?
As members of a forum I belong to, are concerned that the Land Rover used for the overland trip, looks abandoned .
Can we as a group with your permission, auction the Land Rover off and donate the profits to a charity that both our groups agree to ?

In view of some recent information that has just come to light, I will not be sending this draft as a email.
Cheers Arthur

wow, your street looks like mine, i have the new to Australia 22 to a house wrecking a dunydor on the road as well, what did you do to get your local imports to wreck a 110, i need to try it on my lot ( advantage to me)
Hmmmm ... England to Sydney ... there's Australian photo's up in their gallery, so they got here ... and the last update date is 27/08/2006 ... 5+ years ago.
In another area of the site they talk about possibly selling the Defender when they arrive here (after importing it properly), so it's quite likley that the original owners are long gone ?
The trip was due to start 8th August 2004. That's the only entry in the diary section.
(edit)... or not. A google of Adrian Blavo shows such a person is an analyst programmer for macquarie bank ... what are the odds with such an unusual surname ? Adrian Blavo was an IT consultant in the UK.
