    Has anyone else been having issues with the Four (4) Wheel Drive NSW & ACT :: Representing 90+ clubs throughout NSW and the ACT today I received an email that my application to join the 4WD Association website had been disapproved (again). The problem is that I had not applied to join the website now, nor in the last 12 months.

    So I went to their website and sent a message to the secretary (Secretary@4wdnow.com) according to their website only to have the email bounce as unknown emailname.

    Anyone else having problems? has the site been hacked or something?

    BTW before anyone asks - yes I am a financial member of the LROC Sydney, I even have a receipt.

    You are not alone Diana.

    It appears that the 'executive' of the LROC (Sydney Branch) Inc. has been using the membership database, which has proven on numerous occassions during the past few years to be inaccurate, to deregister certain members from access to the 4WD NSW & ACT Association website.

    The Association President has been made aware of this action.

    For the record Roger, all non financial members had their access as a member of the LROC removed, Diana had two identities on there and the one that didn't show her name was removed as in accordance with the Association's forum guidelines. One other member who was financial was removed by mistake, but that is being sorted out.

    Yes, the president of the association has been made aware of this because I sent him an email on Sunday morning to ask for instructions on how to do it. He replied to me today.

    Since you have decided not to renew your membership with the LROC, please refrain from the derogatory remarks regarding the LROC. That sort of childish behaviour only belittles you and is ungentlemanly.

    If you consider the stated facts derogratory Matt then that's your problem as it certainly was not my intention.

    In regard to my LROC (Sydney Bch) Inc membership, I will make a decision regarding that when the annual financial reports for the last three years become available for inspection.

    How do I access the LROC members area?

    I can only find two sections "LROC Sydney General Chat" and "LROC Sydney Trips". The last post was made 17 September 2011? Am I missing something?

    & yes I am a member of LROC Sydney.

    Sorry did I miss something here? I can't see were the derogatory comments were. The OP was asking if anyone else had had a problem with the website and that the email he tried to send was bounced. I can't see anyhting derogatory or childish there.
