    SA Meet and Greet?

There's been a bit of talk about a local meet and greet lately, which seems to have died a natural death. We've got a diverse range of SA people / vehicles on AULRO, and it would be great to put a few faces to names, so to speak.

Is there any interest for an SA AULRO meet and greet in early December? Say Saturday the 2nd or the 9th?

I was thinking a pub somewhere for a meal / bevvy with possibly a carpark nearby for a show and tell. I'll put the Governor Hindmarsh forward as a potential venue, but am open to suggestions. Anyone with a Land Rover or interest in a Land Rover welcome.

    Thoughts / interest anyone?

    Cheers

    Bojan

Seeing as the Land Rover Register (SA) already exists and has AULRO members, shouldn't you talk to them too? I spoke at one of their meetings and they look like a good strong group.

Otherwise I suggest meeting at the Balhannah pub so Spudboy doesn't have far to come...

By that reasoning I suggest we meet at the Torrens Arms, so I don't have far to go!

well, if thats the go I can attend on the 2nd, so long as its at the TUCKERBOX at ANDAMOOKA (shall I ring and make a booking or should we wait a bit...)

seriously though its just a get together, Offdr90 has started this off so I assume logically he gets to decide?

Very noble of you to think of David... not being familiar with Adelaide, how far would Crafers West be from the Balhannah pub?

Jibes aside, I suggested The Gov because I've been there before, its relatively central and has a large carpark. I'm happy to change the venue to suit the majority, so if most people coming happen to live near Balhannah, I'd be happy to meet at the Balhannah pub - whatever results in the largest turnout.

I suggest we give it a couple of days to narrow it down to which day suits most people, and then we can sort out the venue. To get the ball rolling, I'm equally available on both the 2nd and the 9th.

    Cheers
