    getting closer now....

Im getting a few more landies to bring back from my old stomping ground, so sort of having a landy weekend!!

Have lots of fun, Darkside (Reece) will insert any snide, lewd, innappropriate comments or just noises of appreciation (or stomach settling) that I would have made as I have made him my "poxy representitive" (yes, poxy not proxy! )

    cheers! (lots of photos please!)

I hope you all have a MMMMMMMarvelous time!

    Ladies and gentlemen,

Hazelwood Park looks the goods, so BBQ in the park it is. Details below:

WHEN: Saturday, December 10 at 12pm

WHERE: Hazelwood Park, at the BBQ area near the North-East car park (BBQ Area 1 on map below)

WHAT TO BRING: Meat for the BBQ and a salad if you can, bevvies / refreshments, Camping chairs, a folding table (if you have one), a good hat, sunscreen.

If anyone has a portable/camper trailer mounted BBQ that they want to bring, that would be great too. There are a handful of public BBQs which are in excellent condition, however there may be a queue to use one if we're not there early enough.

Please post if you're coming (or not) to let me know, and more importantly, to keep this thread alive. )

Hope to see you all there

    Bojan

    Sounds good to me...

If we can use it, I can possibly get a trailer mounted BBQ, which will negate the need for using the public BBQ's.

Only issue will be, where can we set it up?

In the meantime, I will make a few inquiries....

    Basil,

That would be great if you could. I saw a trailer mounted BBQ (and a couple of Alfa Romeo's) parked on the lawn when I was there yesterday, so I'm guessing it's possible to drive into the park to set up. I'll enquire with the council tomorrow to check what's required to get permission.

Assuming we can get it, there is a good spot to set up at the north-west corner of the park, right down by the creek...
