Was good to put faces to names, and was much taken with the mega-bbq setup. I was in the middle of a big job so I just passed by for an hour but was impressed with the turn out.

BTW - a couple of people asked about the Land Rover Club of SA (actually called the Land Rover Register of SA), so here are the details:

Land Rover Register of South Australia

Meets on the last Friday of every month except December. Also, the first meeting of the year in January is the AGM so watch out if you go to that or you might end up being on a committee!

    Cheers
    David

After many years at Blinman, they thought it would be good to try an alternate venue to mix things up a bit, so Easter 2012 will be at Melrose instead.

Thanks all for a great day. Was good to put so many faces to names / forum nicknames. Special thanks to Basil for organising the BBQ trailer and doing a superb job on the hotplate.

We all know that it "never happened without photos", so here's the few I took:

The trailer that made the day

    our picnic grounds

    Some went the extra mile

and while the girls were relaxing in the shade, the boys were showing off their toys

    There was even a Rolux

A rover powered hilux that is

and my personal favourite, the W123 Merc

I realised after the event that I missed about 3 cars (including my own!) and errmmm... most of the people!

Thankfully, I was not the only one with the camera, so lets hope a few more photos surface shortly.

Thanks again all for a great day, and hopefully we'll see you at the next one.

    Cheers

    Bojan
