"Where the Desert meets the Sea"
We took a little trip out to Blacktown, to have a look at an Amarok, just to see what they were like, maybe have a drive, so Nessie is now the proud owner of a brand new 2011 VW Amarok Limited Edition, Natural Grey, rear sports bar, dual zone climate control, rear locker, window tint, 6 speaker stereo, black bumpers, fog lights.
To say she is chuffed, is an understatement
The sad part, the Disco is now gone, traded in on the Amarok
I am really going to miss this car, she has taken us halfway around Australia, never let us down whenever we have toured this great land, towed our camper everywhere we wanted to go, done the tuff stuff and taken us to work
Goodbye old friend
Oh, here ya go, the ROCK

Shock!! Horror !! ... what, no more Land Rover !!??... or there is a D3/4 on the way if I remeber correctly ?

Hope it ends up being as much joy and serves Nessie as well as the Disco served you!

Baz,did they mention how they were selling?,I'm curious on the numbers. Pat
did you send the disco off with the winch?
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Blacktown....today......
Why didn't you call in so we could have a look
And there would have been a coldie in the fridge for you as well (seeing that you weren't driving)
Very nice, congratulations, now shop for a Series 2 88, paint it yellow and remove the top. It will be the best in Sydney
Is one here in Bundy and looks awesome.
They're definitely starting to attract some serious interest. I was looking at this one in Albany a few days ago.
Well ............. Albany Volkswagen is right next door to Albany Landrover
Also saw a nice dark metallic green one in the main street of Albany while we were there.
I'm definitely very impressed with them and thinking seriously of buying one myself. At the moment, tossing up between one of these, a D4 and possibly a Defender. I like the D4 but the small fuel tank and limited range is probably going to knock it out of consideration for me - can't even make it from Kalgoorlie to Perth on a single tank - the D2 I have now does it easily. I've read that the Amarok has a touring range of around 1,000 km.
Cheers .........

BM...
Just cannonballed my new D4 from Melbourne to Whyalla.
Averaged 9.0l/100km
Considering Kal to Perth is 600km it is a shoe in.
