    your browsers timing out the connection, Have you installed vuse or had one of those ads in text sides lock onto you?

    if you have when your browser tries to load a link from the ad in text site if avast or mse catches it it kills the page load.

    I had a similar thing, took an age to nut it out, so I used a different PC
