Well I knew our paths might cross slightly in Vic somewhere.... we were at Stanley (mates place), 9ks outta Beechworth, for a week and left 3 days ago

A trip out to Bright is recommended, a beautiful place.

Now at Mildura heading to Broken Hill in a couple of days. Gotta fix the rear bumper on the caravan that decided to partially let go whilst on a dirt track en route here. 18ks of tracks with an old "water over road" sign to find that the last 150m to the camp was flooded to thigh height.

Hope the vehicle is back on the road reaalll soon.

Just remembered gotta update the IGO8 maps as recently we have experienced the alignment of country back roads being off.

Well, all sorted now, and after a few nights at Lake Elidon, we're now in Bendigo.

All up, we replaced a borken rocker rod, replaced a leaky welsh plug (and replaced 2 others adjacent to be sure). Whilst I had the time and opportunity, I also fitted Terrafirma rear dual shock mounts, and 2 second-hand shocks that Grover gave me, fitted poly sleeves to the bulging airbargs, cleaned out the intercooler, moved the trailer plug and fixed the bonnet cable (sort of, at least until I replace it).

A big thanks to Grover (Ivan) and his lads, for helping me out of a pickle, lending me some floor space, and putting up with me for the week. I definitely recommend if you have any vehicle issues, LR or otherwise (I saw a Mustang, Jag and Porsche all being repaired), don't hesitate to give them a call (Clarke Automotive). Very helpful, knowledgable and cool to chat to.

I think I've seen enough of Wodonga for now...

Thanks to everyone for the advice and well wishes.
