    Agree. A mate of mine has just uprooted himself and his wife from central Qld, where he was working in the coal mines, to take up the role of Supply Chain Manager with a Chinese mining company in Laos.

    • Years’ experience as a Land Rover mechanic.
    • Relevant auto qualifications.
    • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to diagnose faults and recommend necessary course of action to be taken.
    • Willingness to travel in China, as required.
    • Ability to supervise and/or train other mechanics.

    The position is on a three-month probation, one year contract basis, the renewal of contract is to be mutually negotiated; maximum 15-minute office walk away apartment provided, China’s legal public holidays, four-week paid annual vacation with round trip air ticket.

    An electrical engineer I worked with married a Chinese woman he met working there, very true, alot of dollars are usually on offer he travelled the world specializing in plc programming and told me some of the figures

    He did so to fund his passion of aviation, expensive hobby that one

    gotta say it, hes asking me all the right questions....

    Im not convinced hes got enough clout behind the business (and a quick netsearch shows that the company hes representing is genuine) to be able to pay me out of my current spot... 2 years from now however....
