Various heights available for most leaf spring cars, utes & 4WDs.]
I always thought it was the norm to raise 4WDs, not lower them,
unless of course you want to pimp that Series or Troopie

I'm confused.... why would you use "Blocks" to LOWER the car, surely you'd use blocks to LIFT it.
    Maybe I'm missing something.....

They go between the leaf pack and the axle, since the spring is under the axle, it lowers the body in relation to the axle.

I've seen a few lowered Subaru Foresters recently and I ask myself why?

I suppose it's because they can.

I always have a chuckle when I go to a major shopping centre and the "Hoons" with there ultra low suspension race up the roads doing burn outs and shortly after they have to swallow their pride because there is a speed bump and their "Muscle" cars are so low, they limp over them, then when free they act like tossers again.

Seems crazy to me but many seem to think it is worthwhile.

See this link --> Extreme 4x4 Ltd LOWERED EXTREME PERFORMANCE SPRINGS

    2.5" Lowered Defender

Cant see why you would bother - to each his own.

I think its awesome. Why not lower it? It's more useful for 99% of driving that most people do than a lift.

And you can fit in carparks!
