I had that problem a few years back - so I dug the bed up a bit to loosen the dirt and if anything make it more attractive to puss. I then dug out the dirt and laid six loaded mouse traps in the depression then gently covered them over with the loose dirt.
Sorted the cats right out - mouse traps are enough to scare but not hurt - I would have preferred to use rat traps but might have caused trouble with the neighbours when kitty went back home with rat traps for shoes.
Did something similar when doggy was raiding the garbage bin - filled it with balloons covering them with garbage - busting balloons scared the crap out of doggy and she would not go near the bins for 6 six months by which time here courage returned and tried again - the balloons fixed that![]()

Poor cats, I think advising the neighbors you will be setting traps and going that route is the best. Some councils will even supply them for you and the owners can then go to the pound, pay the fees and hopefully learn a lesson.
Best trick is when you catch the cat take them across the other side of town & give them to a council over there, the owners will never come looking.
If a cat comes into my place the neighbours know by now they will never see it again. Now they either dont have cats or are responsible cat owners !!

anyone that uses slow acting poison to kill an animal deserves the same treatment.
grow some balls and hold the owners accountable not condemn the animals to slow painful deaths.

Yet another home remedy. This one I have used with success. Cloudy ammonia. Buy it in the laundry section of a super market. Nasty stuff. Sprinkle it about where the cats are not meant to be. Either the smell will deter them or if they are both really stupid and stubborn the ammonia will burn there feet when they walk on it. Won`t burn much only enough to get rid of them. Would also I`m guessing be rather unpleasant to lick of.

I'm pretty sure these devises are made from 'naturally' occurring substances.
They remove unwanted cats very quickly and are painless if used correctly. Even if not used to full accuracy, they are usually successful in changing the cat's attitude to occupying your property.
