Small company, good prices and cheaper if you are paying cash

They are on the Princes Hwy (in a service road) opposite where the South Gippsland Hwy joins.

There is a steel supplier near my work that sells off cuts of steel that they call scrap (random shapes sizes and lengths), there is a minimum purchase of I think 5kg or 10kg, I can't remember, I've looked in the bin many times and thought of potential projects but never bought as I always put it off. I looked up their details and found that they are linked to other suppliers on your side of town which might offer same service, the place I know of is Malouf steel in Brooklyn:

    Thanks Matt,

The Bayswater place is close to me. I called them and they do sell offcuts by the kg.

I'll drop in tomorrow morning for a look.

    Cheers

    Pete.
