    Two Write-Offs in 12 months!

Bloody unbelievable. Been driving for 37 years now and until a year ago, never had a car written off. Last November my D2 got drowned.

Just over a week ago my lovely wife was driving my beloved VW Passat Tdi and wrote it off

Oh well, nobody hurt thankfully and very happy to have a protected rating 1. Compared to my previous insurer who were fair bastards to deal with APIA have been great by the way, very sympathetic, punctual and polite. Makes a very nice change to get some real service.

For those who might be wondering, APIA have covered my MY03 D2a for all accessories and including off-road for $470.

Ah **** Wardy, you have got bad luck mate. As you said though, at least no-one was hurt.

I better pickup my handheld UHF before something bad happens to it.

Oh, by the way, some of us aren't yet old enough to qualify for APIA.

Not true they have under 8 teams. At least the Apia Soccer Club in Leichhardt does!

Wardy Bad luck about your two cars in 12 months .

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Haha... He's being a good boy. Happy and healthy is all that matters though mate.

If you wanna use the handheld, I dont mind mate. It takes AA or AAA batteries, you don't need a charger. The batteries go in the back.

Maybe APIA will cover the cost of your glasses
