SubscriberI usually log-in, and go to Quick Links and call up Todays Posts.
From that search, I then scan down the list, and right click "open in a new tab" the posts I wish to read. I end up with a number of "tabs" open in one window to read.
To-night, if I right click on ANY post and open in a new tab, or open in a new window, (even if it wasn't listed in a "Todays Posts" search, I get an error 404 page not found, and the URL reads like follows ....

If I point to the post link, the status bar reads ...

If I right click and open in a new tab or window the URL in the address bar reads ..

I I go back to the link and put the mouse on the link, the staus bar now reads ...

If I copy & paste the link I get ...

Notice the last number at the end of the link changes everytime ?
This effectivley means I can only navigate AULRO one page/link at a time using ONLY left click actions. Left click, into the post, read, then back to the previous page, select the next post to read, left click, etc, etc ... my connection speed isn't flash, and this effectivley makes AULRO highly unuseable.
I had this problem a while ago (and I told Inc' about it, but it's never changed) where right click, open in a new tab/window for any link OUTSIDE AULRO effectivley caused the same problem (internal AULRO links were no problem), so I couldn't right click and open in a new tab any link someone had embedded in their forum post, as that link would then be broken (and I can't navigate to it by any means unless I shut down and restart), with a stupid bloody viglink URL. I could only left click on the link, effectivley taking me away from the forum post/thread to the embedded link .... how annoying.

Effectivley AULRO is now only a one page at a time siteThere's too much going on to deal with the site one page at a time. I can't open ANY link in a new tab/window with a right click action .... stupid viglink URL and http error 404 results
I'm running IE9 on Vista Business on a Toshiba Tecra A10 dual core with 4G ram ... this problem only exists here. No other site I use has this issue.
Inc' ... if you changed something ... please put it back ... this viglink thing is a right pain-in-the-RS !!

... I'll add ... it appears EVERY link is being ruoted via api.viglink.com before being re-directed to the actual link.

just tried it with mozilla and ie and safari on a pc and a mac osx 10.6 and i can click on the links just fine.
you arent alone as i had one other person say they were having the issue but i am not seeing it.

Like Inc' said, it's commercial web habits tracking software ... but it's royaly screwing with all the links I try unless I just left click and work one page at a time ... look at the links I posted above .... a plain url, then the same url with a viglink redirect ... the viglink url is huge and goes nowhere.

It advertises itself as "Earn money while you browse the web."
Run Adaware and a browser hijacker tool (Bhodaemon I think one is called). You have a nasty infecting your computer.
