i have changed nothing on aulro today
I do the same as FLUIDS.
Hit the new posts button, then right click anything of interest and open in a new tab. Then read through the opened tabs, closing them as I go.

Tried copy and paste of links too, with no success.

Used to only happen with links in posts (ie. links to ebay items etc.) and some images and videos. Now it hits everything.

    Windows Vista 64bit
    ESET NOD antivirus
    Windows firewall

Seems to be a problem with IE.
    Firefox working flawlessly.
    Seamonkey slow, but working ok.

I had a few glitches on the forum around 8pm (a "post reply" button wouldn't work), better now. Could be anything really, sunspots maybe?

Everything works perfectly on my machine with Ubuntu 10.10 and Chromium- just as it always does.

I'm running a scan now ... but I'm very doubful it's viruse or hijack related.

    MS security essentials
    Router hardware firewall
    Never had a virus problem

A virus that changes a right click "copy shortcut" for the link to this post/thread to ...

    h t t p : / / api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&drKey=838&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aul ro.com%2Fafvb%2Fgeneral-chat%2F&v=1&libid=1323862199564&out=%2F%2Fapi.vigl ink.com%2Fapi%2Fclick%3Fformat%3Dgo%26key%3D0f96a3 8a5a863735e17251f4eccd9b82%26loc%3Dhttp%253A%252F% 252Fwww.aulro.com%252Fafvb%252Fgeneral-chat%252F%26v%3D1%26libid%3D1323862199669%26out%3D http%253A%252F%252Fwww.aulro.com%252Fafvb%252Fgene ral-chat%252F140638-whats-happened-aulro.html%26ref%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.aulro.co m%252Fafvb%252F%26title%3DGeneral%2520Chat%2520-%2520Australian%2520Land%2520Rover%2520Owners%26tx t%3DWhat's%2520happened%2520to%2520AULRO%2520%253F %26jsonp%3Dvglnk_jsonp_13238622043051&ref=http%3A% 2F%2Fwww.aulro.com%2Fafvb%2F&title=General%20Chat% 20-%20Australian%20Land%20Rover%20Owners&txt=What's%2 0happened%20to%20AULRO%20%3F&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_132 38622043051

    (I double spaced the h t t p : / / so it wouldn't post as a shortned url/link)

... I very much doubt it.

    I don't have any viglink issues with my PC's at work (XPSP3 + IE8/9 and Win98SESP2 + IE(who knows??).

d @ r k 5 1 d 3 might be onto something ... seems it's only happening with IE ... we're both running Vista (although I'm 32bit) ... and I did a Vista update this morning at work which included a cumulative security update for IE9 .... to-night it's fritzed (don't use the laptop at work other than to collect backups all day long off our network).

The full scan that's running now is going to take hours .... yawn ... I seriously expect it to find nothing.

Was also happening before the updates for me.

I'll just start running with Firefox again. Easy fixed.
