guess its the same attitude that makes idiots walk along the main road of our suburb, bashing, denting and de-mounting nearly every letter box for about 1.5km.
If they had another brain cell between them, it would be lonely.

Of course you acknowledge that you have taken photographic images of a yet to be proven guilty nameless person who has more rights than you do.
You have now posted their image in a public place without consent or statutory approval this could be grounds to be submitted to amnesty international for a ruling.
Perhaps they were offended by the Xmas goodwill you were displaying and in a justifiable act of terminating such recalcitrant behavior that discriminates against all the other pagan beliefs.
Did you have council permission to operate such visual entertainment per relevant council bylaws including distractions and encumbrances either on or adjacent to public space that being the footpath. It has also been noted that you have a significant structure constructed in the form of a letter box which does not comply with the relevant local building codes.
I would also point out that the visual distraction you have created on or near a space designed for a motor vehicle, that being the driveway is a breech of the road traffic act.
And you think someone else is the criminal

You have to laugh, I was a victim in a viscous assault a while back which eventually (many weeks later) made its way onto TV Crime-stoppers.
During the whole process the offender appeared to have more rights than me!

Moronic is just about the kindest word I can think of at the moment.

It is very difficult to understand the mentality, getting a kick out of wrecking someone else's property.

What do idiots like this hope to gain?

By the looks of things, there are a few houses in your street that have gone to the trouble to put up lights for the festive season.

So why bother to get out of their car, skulk around like the feral rats they are, and cut the lights? I apoligise to any feral rats that are reading this. No offence intended.

I put our lights up high, and right back on the house, partly for this reason.

You can't understand them, you just have to find a shotgun, acreage and a bag of lime.

Use 240volt lights next time.
