gotta love the comments in the NT news, read from bottom up
I'll just tie my caravan 2 the big milkwood it's under along with another tree that's not large enough 2 crush us to death if it falls over & sit out any cyclones like we did in Cyclone Tracy. Bloody wonderful trees those milkwoods. Saved out lives. Then some bastard cut it down during the 1980's 2 make way 4 flats that were never built.

Whats safe is to disassociate cylcones from the nanny pretenders of overpaid public servants. If the real thing arrives theres two main threats to the public - 1. the environment 2. public servants and officials . Your best bet is pack tucker, stockpile fuel, torches and wear a helmet. Oh and dont forget the beer, kick back and enjoy the storm.

We come to Darwin every year , to get away from the crazy family Xmas bash down sth here in Perth, and spend 6 days kicking back on the balcony at the wharf precinct. Every year I hope for a kicka$$ storm to watch with the missus. Looks like we will get our monies worth this year. Should I pack my mag light torch?
