    Spider ID

SWMBO encountered a couple of these little fellows on the clothes line today.
I've never seen them before and was wondering if someone could identify them .................... no, not the $2 coin, the other fella.

Juvenile common garden orb weaver. Harmless. Further, it's a female.

They're fatter than the males; and they're like that before they get married and have kids.

not completely harmless, I got bitten several times by one around my navel area from one that got in my shirt while it was hanging on a grapevine. I had red welts in the area and severe itching for ages....sorry no pics....this was in box brownie days......ahhh yes.....we could start another thread about those couldnt we?
