my condolences,as it is never easy.
My condolences too Ron,
What you have gone through - just doesnt seem fair...Kids are meant to out live their oldies...
I really don't know how I would cope, looking at my young bloke over the other side of the room as I type this.
I guess the only thing I am sure, is it wouldnt get any easier as the years go by...
So sad mate.... thanks for sharing your happy photos...
Bloody hell sure doesn't seem like 4 years......thoughts with you and the better half at this time,
Regards
Stevo
4 Years already....Seems like yesterday when I read the news.
I hope you are holding up OK mate.
Yes Ron, time does pass quickly, we know how you and Elisabeth must feel, time will not heal, but only lessen the pain, the scar will always be there

The orchid that was named in Bucko's memory has received several awards.
Brian (FIL) gave me this particular trophy to give to you. I have had it for a little while and not got around to sending it.
If you PM me your address, I will be more than happy to send it.
My sister's husband passed away that same year of cancer. We were all very close and while it does seem like quite a while ago now, I often find myself in situations asking myself .... "What would Geoff do ..? "
Never let go of the great memories.

Dave, Elisabeth and I don't know what to say. What a phenomenal gesture on Brian's part but extremely difficult to accept. Brian worked hard to win that.
If you are sure he can bear to part with it, we would be honoured to accept it.
For those who don't know what this is about, I refer you to http://www.aulro.com/afvb/general-ch...can-i-say.html
Everybody, Elisabeth and I really do appreciate your kind words. It was a tough day yesterday followed by a funeral for a good friend today - someone with whom Elisabeth went through primary school and with whom she worked at Telecom.
We are on our way to NZ (South Island) and it happens to be the 8th anniversary of Lee's death on the V-Strom. I'm sure he'd have loved to have ridden over there.
Four years ago, it was the funeral of a friend of Elisabeth, this time we've just had the funeral of a good friend I met through riding a V-Strom.
Ride on Bucko.
