Just about 29 years.... and it's over

Yes, come April 23rd I would have been married for 29 years.... now it looks as if it's gone.
All I hope is that things can remain civil and perhaps when the pain eases, we can recover something. We've don many things and been to many places.... Never even considered that was going to end.
    Oh well.

Commiserations, mate. I'm on 22 years and have had some heavy times of it.

Just remember, life goes on, and take it a day at a time.

A sad day for you and I'm sorry to hear it.

Make sure you stick close to a few good mates. A good yarn, a couple of beers and a few laughs can lighten the load.

Sorry to hear it Wardy, no mater who made the final decision its still like grievng for a lost loved one, everyone will say that you're not alone and heaps of people have been throught it.. but...29 years Try not to get bitter but don't be too much of a hero and give her everything either, you'll regret it later. You will get over it, it just takes time and then who knows, in time you might find someone new but don't rush it, take your time and get some sound legal advice.

Mate I really don't know atm but I think at the very best, we'll still be able to talk and maybe down thr track explore some of the place we've dreamed about. Right now I'm giving her time and space..... see where things go from there......
In the end though I think we all know when something is terminal

Very sorry to hear it mate. As you say, I hope it can stay civil. You know many people are here to support you if you need it. It doesn't have to be on the main forum, shoot a PM if you want too.

It doesn't mean you have to stop traveling or getting on with life, it will just be different. I hope it all works out for you in the end.
    Cheers, David.
